Country United States

The Summit League Men's Basketball Player of the Year is an annual college basketball award given to the most outstanding men's basketball player in The Summit League (which had been known as the Mid-Continent Conference up until June 1, 2007). The award was first given following the 1982–83 season. Only one player—Caleb Green of Oral Roberts—has won the award three times (2005–07). Four other players have won the award twice: Jon Collins of Eastern Illinois, Tony Bennett of Wisconsin–Green Bay, Bryce Drew of Valparaiso, and Keith Benson of Oakland.

As of 2011, Valparaiso has the most all-time winners with five, although the school left The Summit League in 2007 to join the Horizon League. Oral Roberts has the second-most with four winners. Of current league members, Centenary, IPFW and South Dakota State have had no winners.
